Maintaining your Bath or Shower Screen is essential in ensuring durability for many years to come
Cleaning and Care Instructions
For best results, please take the following guidelines into consideration when caring for your new Shower Screen. Please read this entire guide prior to commencing cleaning.
Warning: Do not use strong solvents such as thinners or solutions containing chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters or ketones.
We do not recommend the use of Hydrofluoric or Phosphoric acid, ammonia-base and alcohol base cleaners because these tend to streak and may cause permanent staining of the frame surface.
Use only warm mild soapy water which is ph neutral.
First test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before using on the entire shower screen.
Wipe all surfaces clean immediately after applying cleaning solution, using only a damp soft cloth or sponge.
Rinse all surfaces thoroughly with clean water ensuring all cleaning solution has been removed and no residue remains.
Do not allow cleaning solution to remain on any surface as this may cause permanent marking.
Wipe down shower after every use. Squeegee glass and dry aluminium frame and hardware to minimise water spots and mineral deposits. This is especially important in areas where the water has a high mineral content.
Never use bristle brushes, abrasive scourers, or sharp instruments on glass or anodised aluminium surfaces. Use of such items can result in permanent scratching.
Always ensure you have read the fine print of any commercially available “shower/bathroom” cleaning product to determine suitability.
